The Online store for the 2017 Season is now up and running. With this being our second season of using this we have made a few changes to the structure in order to improve that process from last year.
1. Store will only be available for certain periods throughout the season. This will allow us to collect, order, package up and communicate status for effectively. The dates for the online store are as followed.
Run #1: Monday, April 17th – Thursday, April 20 11:59pm.
(All Items, excluding backordered jersey’s will be delivered to players by opening weekend). If you want gear purchased through the online store before your first game YOU MUST PURCHASE your apparel during this time frame
Run #2: Week after opening weekend
Run #3: End of June
After each run closes all orders will be processed and will take roughly 2 weeks to get ordered and placed. You will receive follow up emails once those orders are ready for pickup at Universal Athletics.
Again orders need to be placed by midnight Thursday in order to ensure delivery before opening day. There a few sets of Jerseys that are in back order and will take a couple of extra weeks. If your size and team falls into this category you will be notified after the store closes on when you can expect to pick them up.

Opening Weekend: May 6th/7th
Last Regular Season Date: August 5th
Golf Tournament: August 6th (More information to come along with signups)
2017 Postseason: August 12th – August 19th

As always the 1st 1/2 of team fees are due by each individual teams 1st game. The 2nd 1/2 is due by each individual teams 2nd game. Players may pay for their portion of the team fees online @ https://squareup.com/market/gvmabl
We will still be holding tryouts today. The weather looks like it it warm up enough to get the snow melted off. With that said we will being moving the tryouts to Kirk Park and asking guys to show up at 2:00pm. Here are the directions in case you don’t know where the fields are located

With the weather this morning and the condition of Heroes field we will not be able to work on Heroes field this morning. Thank you to everyone who offered to help out this morning and we will send follow up communication if we reschedule.
As far as tryouts, we are still figuring out options for tryouts and will send follow up communication later this morning.
Heroes Field is need of some help on some renovations to their bleachers. They have all the materials, and need some guys and tools to help put in the new wooden bleachers. This is a GREAT opportunity for our league to show our appreciation for using such a nice field. Our plan is to get a group of guys ~10 – 15 to show up at the field at 9:00am before our tyrouts to help the Legion program get this work completed. Please fill out this short form if you would be able to lend a hand.
Additionally if you have the below tools, please feel free to bring them with you.
- Cordless Drill with a 7/16 socket
- 7/16 and a few other similar sized wrenches
- Skill saw or miter saw
- Tape Measure
*Donuts and Pizza will be provided to those who volunteer.
